A mini reunion took place on Saturday at the Union Jack Club in Waterloo. A group of Veterans who experienced basic training together in 1998, were interviewed and shared their experiences of military life and the transition back to ‘civvy street’ on camera. The stories shared were enlightening and their proud reflection of their service as Riflemen of the Royal Green Jackets (RGJ) was both heart warming and hilarious. Some of the veterans had not seen each other for nearly 15 years which made for an emotional roller coaster of an event.
An incredible days filming with the gratefully received support of the staff at the Union Jack Club, one of whom was an ex-rifleman and former Royal Green Jacket. See the completed film for personal accounts on military life and returning to ‘civvy street’.
